Hendon were forced to play out most of the second half with ten men as they were dumped out of the FA Cup by AFC Sudbury, who won 3-1.
This time it was debutant Aryan Tajbakhsh who was the man to see red, being dismissed for violent conduct eight minutes into the second half, having come on as a substitute immediately after half time.
The home side, who currently lead Ryman Division One North, took the lead in the 3rd minute through Luke Callander, before Aaron Morgan equalised from the penalty spot after Leon Smith was fouled. Sudbury's lead was restored by Craig Parker shortly before half-time, despite the Greens having had most of the play.
Parker ensured the Greens paid for not taking their first half chances, and for being reduced to ten men, as he scored his second, and Sudbury's third, in the 57th minute.
Both sides had chances to score further goals, but Sudbury were able to hold on for an ultimately comfortable win.
The defeat means that Hendon have failed to progress through the round in which they entered the FA Cup for the first time since 1985, when Ruislip Manor were 1-0 winners at Grosvenor Vale.
