Hendon lost their sixth league game in succession this afternoon as Maidstone United ran out 3-2 winners. Maidstone took the lead in the 33rd minute when Andy Pugh scored with a superb 25 yard strike, but the Greens equalised almost immediately when Lee O'Leary celebrated his return by converting a low right-wing cross. In the 41st minute Brian Haule gave Hendon a half-time lead when his ball across the face of goal deflected into the net off the backside of Maidstone's Ben Lewis. In the second-half the Greens played well for the first fifteen minutes but then played very poorly for the last half-hour and let Maidstone back into the game. The Stones equalised in the 67th minute through Jacob Erksine before Lyndon Rowlands scored the winner three minutes from time following some very poor defending from a corner.
