Following reports that have emerged in the media over the past couple of days, chairman Simon Lawrence has issued the following statement.
"Along with Casey and Kevin Maclaren, club representatives attended a Football Association Personal Hearing earlier this month where it was alleged that after the Ryman League Premier Division game against Wingate & Finchley FC at Earlsmead on 27 December 2014, Casey and Kevin, along with others, were involved in an altercation in the bar sometime after the game.
The club are now in receipt of the Official Documents relating to the Hearing and the confirmation of the decision and sanctions issued by the FA Regulatory Commission.
Both Casey and Kevin were handed lengthy suspensions (to start with immediate effect), fined, had to forfeit the Hearing fee and ordered to pay towards the costs of their Hearings.
The club, despite The FA confirming that it had no previous misconduct record, was fined a significant sum, had to forfeit the Hearing fee and ordered to pay towards the Hearing costs.
The club also wish to place on record that throughout this situation the Board of Directors and Team Management have fully supported Casey and Kevin.
Both Casey and Kevin have lodged Appeals with The Football Association and now await the date on which these appeals will be heard.
With the Appeal process now underway, Hendon Football Club is not in a position to make any further comment until after such time the Appeal has been heard.
