Charlie Goode made his debut for the England C side when he came on as a substitute in the 73rd minute this afternoon.

It meant he was able to play a part in the 2-1 victory over a Republic of Ireland U21 side that included former Hendon loanee Jack Connors as a substitute.

The goalscorers were Matt Pearson of FC Halifax Town and Jordan Roberts of Aldershot Town.
