Hendon will go into Monday's game against AFC Hornchurch knowing that a win will secure at least a place in the play-offs and the top four.
With the Greens extending their unbeaten run to 14 games with a 2-0 win over Leatherhead, and as a consequence of results elsewhere, the only teams that can overtake are Margate, Dulwich Hamlet, Enfield Town and Grays Athletic. As both Enfield and Grays can only get 81 points, a win on Monday will be enough to secure at least 4th place.
The two goals this afternoon came either side of half time. Aaron Morgan netted just after the half-hour mark, before Casey Maclaren scored early in the second period.
The Greens were reduced to ten men moments later when Lee O'Leary was dismissed, but they held on to keep another clean sheet and secure another three points.
