Hendon returned to winning ways in the league with a comfortable 3-1 win over Ashford Town (Middlesex). Despite going a goal behind after 54 seconds to a Paul Johnson free-kick, Hendon had by far the better of the game and equalised in the 29th minute courtesy of a Brian Haule penalty. Belal Aiteouakrim put the Greens ahead on the stroke of half-time before Haule completed the scoring in the 66th minute finishing off a fine move. The result moves the Greens back up to fourth place as they now look ahead to a tough trip to Tonbridge Angels, who have won their last six games.
