Hendon came away from Lewes with all three points in a game where both sides were reduced to ten men.
Lewes took the lead from the penalty spot, the kick being converted by Sam Cole, in the 17th minute. Kevin Maclaren was sent off late in the half for a nasty looking challenge, and in the melee that followed, Lewes veteran striker Leroy Griffiths was dismissed for violent conduct.
The Greens grabbed the points with two quick goals early in the second half from Kezie Ibe and Casey Maclaren.
