Hendon reached the quarter finals of the Robert Dyas (Isthmian) League Cup this evening, beating Hampton & Richmond Borough 1-0.

It is the first time the Greens have reached the quarter finals of the competition since 2002-03, eventually going out in a two-legged semi-final against Canvey Island.

Both sides fielded strong line-ups, and the Greens prevailed courtesy of a Kezie Ibe goal early in the second half.

The quarter final tie is a home game against Maidstone United on a date to be confirmed.
