Breaking that down a bit further, in the league the record is played 427, won 168, drawn 94, lost 165, scored 633, conceded 612, and we've picked up 598 points.

You can probably do the maths, but in all cup ties, the record is played 126, won 66, drawn 17 (including 6 penalty shoot-out wins and 3 penalty defeats), lost 43, scored 251 and conceded 192.

The player who made the most appearances under McCann is former captain James Parker, who retired in 2012 after completing his 300th match, 299 of which came with Gary as manager. James Burgess left Hendon after 324 appearances, but he had more than 70 before Gary arrived, and they were teammates in April 2003. Of the current squad, Kevin Maclaren is tops with 270, though brother Casey and Lee O'Leary are both on 255.

Hopefully there are many more games to come under Gary's leadership - who, as has been mentioned in recent years, is believed to be the longest serving manager in the club's history.
