Hendon manager Gary McCann was delighted with his team’s performance against Wingate & Finchley.
"I am more than satisfied with the win," he said.
"To reach 50 points by the end of the year is a fantastic performance by the whole squad and management team. I am sure Hendon haven't achieved that total very often, it at all before. It puts us in a very strong position for the second half of the season.
"The conditions were very testing, right from the first kick, and we had to adapt to them, which we did very well. Pitches are going to be like this for a while and I told the players that we are going to have to get used to surfaces that are not ideal.
"We had to keep our discipline and I think we did it very well on the pitch. There were a lot of contentious incidents throughout the match, and I think we got the benefit on the majority of them."
