Having been told off by our under-21 managers yesterday, we probably ought to bring you up to date with the latest from our youth teams. The under-21s have played three matches since the last update. First of all they ran out 5-3 winners against Sporting Hounslow, whilst a goal from Michael Roache and a brace from Glenn Garner saw them win 3-1 at Acton Town yesterday. In between their game at Hilltop was abandoned with the Greens leading 5-3 with eight minutes to go when the home supporters and players decided to have a punch-up amongst themselves! We await the ruling from the league committee to see whether the result will stand or not. The under-21s are well placed for a top two finish.

The Sunday youth teams have been disrupted over the past few weeks by the bad weather, and two of them returned to action today. The Under-16s extended their winning run to 8 games in all competitions with a 1-0 win at Springfield in the league. If they continue their good form, they have a wonderful chance of winning their division.

The under-15s haven't played for over a month, but need just one point to guarantee a top two finish. They have two games to go. Meanwhile the under-14s completed a disappointing season yesterday with a 3-2 defeat to Charville Athletic in their Supplementary Cup. All the youth team pages have been updated with full reports and league tables.
