Hendon progressed through the first qualifying round of the FA Trophy this afternoon as they won 3-1 at Bury Town.

Belal Aite-Ouakrim opened the scoring after just two minutes, but Phil Weavers equalised in the 29th minute.

Lee O'Leary, who was later stretchered off, restored the lead in the 58th minute, before Aite-Ouakrim completed the scoring eight minutes later.

The draw for the next round will be made on Monday, and ties will be played on Saturday 15th November. As a result our trip to Leiston has been postponed.
