Hendon progressed into the second round of the London Senior Cup this evening as they comfortably beat Barking 301.
The Greens took the lead in the 38th minute when Belal Aite-Ouakrim finished off a fine move involving Peter Dean and Chris Seeby, and the same player doubled the lead early in the second half.
Ryan Creed pulled a goal back for the Essex Senior League side, but the best moment of the game came in the 79th minute when Leon Smith found the back of the net to equal the all-time club record for scoring in consecutive games.
A trip to either London Bari or Redbridge awaits in the second round - they are due to play their first round tie towards the end of the month.
