A reminder that we have a fund-raising memorial game taking place in memory of Les Vincent and Steve Cheesewright on Friday evening.
The Les & Steve Memorial Cup will take place on the new 3G pitch at Silver Jubilee Park, and kick off at 7.00pm. The Hendon Supporters XI will be taking on a Steven Cheesewright XI.
The Steven Cheesewright XI will be made up of friends and former team=mates of Steve's from the Old Bellgate FC, a local pub in the heart of Hemel Hempstead, and will be managed by Wayne Fox. We are also hoping that a few former Hendon players will be making guest appearances.
If any supporters would like to play in the game, please contact Nick McMullen via email on nick_mcmullen@hotmail.com as soon as possible. Please be aware that all players must wear astroturf boots or plastic moulded boots. Metal studs or blades must not be worn.
Supporters are invited to come along to the game - entry is free, but there will be opportunities to make donations in memory of Les and Steve to Cancer Research UK. The bar will be open until late.
If you are unable to make the game, but would still like to make a donation, you can do so by seeing Andy Vincent on a home matchday, or by going online via the link below.
Please do support this event if you can, Les supported the club for the best part of 40 years, whilst Steve first came with his Grandad aged 7, and his last game, aged 30, was the FA Cup tie at Luton Town in 2011.
