Hendon came back from a goal down to beat Peacehaven & Telscombe 3-2 in an entertaining game at Earlsmead this evening.
The Greens started well and took the lead through Kezie Ibe's fifth goal of the campaign in the 9th minute, but the visitors fought back well and equalised shortly afterwards through Mark Knee. Peacehaven took the lead in the 23rd minute courtesy of Lloyd Cotton, and if truth be told should have been further ahead by half-time.
Hendon were in determined mood in the second half, and were back on level terms just after the hour mark when Chris Seeby fired a superb shot across the keeper. The winner came four minutes from time when Dave Diedhiou pounced on a loose ball after a shot from Ibe had been parried by the keeper.
The win moves the Greens up to third place overnight.
