Our FA Cup opponents will be AFC Rushden & Diamonds, who won 3-0 at Bedford Town this evening in their replay.

Our opponents were formed just three years ago in 2011 following the demise of the old Rushden & Diamonds club, and like ourselves are a fans owned club. They play in the United Counties League Premier Division, where they currently lie in 9th place despite having a 100% record from their two games. They have up to three games in hand on other clubs in the league.

The tie will be played at Earlsmead on Saturday 13th September, kicking off at 3.00pm. This will be our first Saturday home cup tie since our move to Earlsmead last summer, with all our weekend cup ties having to take place on Sunday's last season.
