Gary McCann was very pleased with the performance at East Thurrock United yesterday.
He said, "If we had got a bit of luck we would have made sure of all three points.
"We weren't very good for the first 15 minutes, but that was down to us, and then we were very good for the next 60-70 minutes.
"After East Thurrock scored, they got a lift and came back at us. We had a few difficult moments, but I don't think George Legg was really worked.
"This speaks volumes for our defence, which apart from a couple of errors against Metropolitan Police has been excellent all season.
"If you had offered me 10 points from the first 5 games at the start of the season I would have bitten your hand off."
