The Dave Stanley Memorial Shield was shared by both Hendon and Chesham United tonight following an entertaining goalless draw.

Clearcut goalscoring opportunities were at a premium for both sides, with the defences both holding very firm throughout the 90 minutes, and a goalless draw was very much the right result.

This was a much tougher test for the Greens, and it is unlikely they will come up against such a strong well organised defence in the season ahead.
