We are pleased to announce that Rob Morris and his team at Silver Jubilee Park have received planning consent for the all weather pitch. This has been granted by Brent Council without any restrictions.

The surface, which will be FIFA accredited, is manufactured by Playrite and will be constructed by ETC. Works are due to begin soon with a schedule that will last up to nine weeks.

The surface was selected after extensive research and visits to Leeds United who use the surface at their training ground. The investment so far at Silver Jubilee Park (SJP) including the purchasing of the lease and the new surface is over £500,000.

We have full support from the Football Assication and Sport England, with a Stadia Improvement Grant now being offered for other works in order to achieve ground grading. New gates, turnstiles, perimeter fencing, spectator rail, increased terracing and another 120 seats are just some of the requirements for us to be able to stage Ryman League Premier Division football at SJP.

Rob Morris has agreed in principle deals with the following organisations which will secure the long term viability of SJP : Soccer Sixes, Edgware Town, Edgware Youth, Maccabi Masters, Cockfosters FC, Hills Prospect, The FA degree courses teams, JFS School, Brent cup Finals, Robert Southwell School, Excel Sport, Ryan Lavelle dance School, Middx University and there are many more currently in negotiations.

What we have achieved in a short period of time is exciting but there are still many hurdles to overcome before the prospect of a permanent home becomes a reality.
