The standings in the World Cup predicition competition after the group stages have been made available.

Leading the way before the knockout rounds begin is Chris Lamb with 77 points, whilst David Coote and Scott Searle are joint second with 71 points. John Long has 68, Wayne Hitchings has 67 and James Furness has 66.

There have been 36 entries to the competition, which has resulted in a donation to the supporters trust of £84, whilst the prize fund is £73.50 for the winner, £31.50 for 2nd place and £21 for 3rd place.

All entrants have until 5pm this afternoon to submit their predictions for the knock out stages, and should have received an email from Paul Butler to that effect.
