We are delighted to announce that Gary McCann has committed to the club for what will be his 10th full season as manager.
Speaking at the awards evening last night Gary said "I am proud to call these players my team, they have worked hard all season, and marched on despite the difficulties that came their way.
"The fact they kept our season alive until the final four or five games of the season is testament to their commitment to me and the club.
"I am currently talking to the squad about next season, and I am hopeful that they will all be back with us when preseason starts.
"Huge thanks must go to my backroom team of Freddie Hyatt, Junior Lewis and Mark Findley. As we all know Junior is off to pastures new, and he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We have all learnt so much from him, and hopefully we will keep in touch.
"I spoke to Gordon Bartlett this afternoon about his journey with Wealdstone. The journey they have gone through with the various groundshares and what they have now achieved at their new home in winning the championship needs to be our gauge for our future.
"Next season will be a challenge, we will be looking to better what we have done this season, but it will be difficult. There is a lot of hard work ahead of us - but if we continue to pull together, who knows what we can achieve."
