Hendon's season finished on a disappointing note as they lost 3-2 to Margate.

It was an entertaining game and it was Leon Smith who struck first in the 9th minute to give the Greens the lead. Margate equalised just before half time courtesy of Charlie Allen.

Matt Bodkin put Margate ahead in the 48th minute but within 8 minutes Dave Diedhiou had restored parity. The winner came with four minutes to go when Luke Medley found the back of the net.

Whilst it has been a disappointing end to the season, the overall achievement of 8th place is one we should all be proud of. Gary McCann and the squad have given their all throughout the campaign and the club thank them all for their efforts.
