Wealdstone our visitors tonight

This evening sees our run of three home games in 8 days end with the visit of league leaders Wealdstone. The Stones hit top spot last week, and with their games in hand, many observers believe that the title is theirs to lose.

They showed their title credentials on Saturday as they beat East Thurrock United 5-0, a game which included a hat-trick from veteran striker Scott McGleish. They are currently unbeaten in 11 games in all competitions, 9 in the league. Their squad includes former Greens Elliott Godfrey and Carl McCluskey, the latter having scored his first goal for them on Tuesday in the 2-0 win at Wingate & Finchley.

As has been the case during the recent busy run of games, Gary McCann is likely to rotate his squad to try and keep everyone fresh and ready to go, but your support as always will be crucial as we bid to secure three points and a rare home win over Wealdstone.

We would like to remind all supporters about the parking restrictions in the car park on a Monday night. As the Tanglewood Club are meeting, an area of the front car park will be coned off so that their minibuses can get in and out. However, there will be plenty of parking behind the far end goal - the gate will be manned to take your admission money as you drive behind the stand - and there is plenty of side street parking, but we do ask that you park considerately and don't block residents driveways.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible there tonight. Our normal admission prices of £10 adults, £5 senior citizens & students and free for under 16s apply, and programmes, which are a double edition with the Cray game, are priced at £2.
