On Thursday 13th March the club will be holding a Nostalgia evening in the clubhouse at Silver Jubilee Park, the former home of Kingsbury Town. The evening commences at 7pm, entrance will be free, but there will be a raffle and collection during the evening.
Everyone is welcome to come and share their memories, bring photos, old programmes, shirts and their favourite stories. We also hope to have footage from the past showing on the big screen.
The first team will be training at the ground, and it will be an excellent opportunity to meet the squad, along with Gary, Freddie and Junior, who it is hoped will recollect their days playing in green and answer questions.
The board of directors will be represented and will share their vision of the clubs future, and you will have an opportunity to discuss this with them.
There will also be representatives from the Supporters Trust and the new youth set up to tell us about what they do, and their aspirations going forwards.
Other organisations who will be present include the Supporters Association, who will have their range of merchandise available for sale, Excel Sport, who are sponsoring many of our home games this season, the Silver Jubilee Park Committee, who look after the ground and clubhouse, the Hendon Foundation, a charity arm of the club who are planning a fun run. It is also hoped to have some other former players and administrators there, along with our old friend Monty the Lamb.
We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend if you are free that evening and we look forward to seeing you there.
