It has been confirmed today that Davis Haule has left the club and signed for league rivals Staines Town. Haule made 147 appearances in his two spells at the club, scoring 27 goals. Speaking exclusively to Greensnet, manager Gary McCann said "We did everything in our power to keep Davis at the club, but the offer he was made by Staines was far too good to turn down. We'd like to thank Davis for his efforts since he returned to the club 18 months ago, especially in the final month of last season as we made that final push for the play-offs. He goes with our very best wishes for the future."
Mr McCann continued "What this transfer has done however is release funds so that we can add some much needed strength to the squad. I have been speaking to a number of players and supporters can expect to see some new faces in the pre-season friendlies."
