Hendon manager Gary McCann was both delighted and disappointed with the draw against Wealdstone.
"Delighted and disappointed is a good way to describe it. I am delighted with one the point earned by the performance, but very disappointed that it wasn't the three the team thoroughly deserved.
"Anyone at the game will tell you we were the better, more purposeful and cohesive team. The fact that their goalkeeper Jonathan North was man of the match shows how much we were on top.
"I have watched a lot of Wealdstone games this season and I haven't seen anyone open up their defence the way we did.
"Although we were the better team in the first half, we didn't really create that much and we struggled to keep their key players quite. But we kept the ball better in the second half, nullified their dangermen and actually worked North more.
"It was another performance that I can be proud of and the team is all pulling in the same direction. We need to take this into our next game against Bognor.
"After the game, we had a number of despondent players in the dressing room because we had taken only a point from the favourites for the League on their ground."
