Hendon came away from Wealdstone disappointed that they only had a single point to show for their efforts in a 1-1 draw.
The first half was an even affair, with neither keeper having a save to make despite both sides carving out some half chances.
The Greens took the game to a strangely lethargic Wealdstone side in the second half, and it was no surprise when they took the lead through Tony Taggart after an impressive string of passing which had stretched the home defence to breaking point.
The Stones had man of the match Jonathan North to thank for keeping them in the game as he made two very impressive saves. The equaliser, which many Wealdstone supporters felt was barely deserved, came seven minutes from time when a shot from Jonatham Wright that has variously been described as mishit or as taking a deflection found its way into the net.
