"I feel humbled by what the players did tonight," said a very proud manager Gary McCann. "They gave me everything I could have wished for in difficult circumstances.
"For most of the first 35 minutes we had been on top. To go in 2-0 down at half-time was very harsh. But I said to the players that the difference between the two divisions is that, in the higher level, they are clinical when offered a chance to score. After the way the first half ended, it would have been understandable if the players heads' had dropped and the second half performance had been rather flat.
"Instead, they, once again, showed that they are made of much sterner stuff. They showed their character, togetherness and resilience in coming back and they got what they deserved. The three goals we scored were all excellent and showed what great quality we have in our strike-force."
