Today's game against Hastings United was called off by the match referee just 30 minutes before kick off. The reason given by the official was that he was unhappy with one six yard area which hadn't thawed out. Neither Gary McCann or Hastings manager Tony Dolby were happy with the decision to call the game off.

We would like to thank Wembley chairman Brian Gumm, and Wembley manager Ian Bates, who worked hard on the pitch this morning to help get the game on. Sadly their efforts were in vain.
