Despite being a goal behind at half-time, Hendon came back to win 3-2 at Margate this afternoon.
On a heavy but playable pitch, Margate took the lead in the 8th minute through Matt Bodkin, before Jefferson Louis equalised ten minutes later. However, when Jamie Stuart put the home side back in front on the stroke of half-time, it looked like a tough test for the Greens.
Hendon took the game to Margate after the break and Casey Maclaren equalised ten minutes into the second half, before Anthony Thomas secured the points with a superbly taken goal that flew into the net just under the bar.
