We face a second consecutive Saturday trip to Kent tomorrow as we travel to Margate for our latest Ryman League fixture.

The Gate are under new management, with Terry Brown having been appointed before Christmas, a manager we have come up against many times over the years, particularly during his time as manager of Hayes in the 1990s. The former AFC Wimbledon manager has made a number of changes to his squad, including four signings from Conference South side Sutton United in Jamie Stuart, Dean McDonald, Anthony Riviere and Sam Rents.

Our opponents lie two places and two points behind us having played a game more but have had a disappointing run of results of late, although they beat Enfield Town 1-0 in their last game a fortnight ago. They are yet to play a game in 2014 due to the proliferation of waterlogged pitches in the past couple of weeks.

Gary McCann goes into the game with the same squad as last week, and will be keen to ensure that the recent consistency in performance continues, particularly after last weeks excellent showing at Maidstone United.

Kick off at Hartsdown Park is at 3.00pm, and admission prices are £10 adults, £7 concessions (male OAP 65+, female OAP 60+, students), £3 for under 16s and free for under 10s accompanied by an Adult. There is a £1 transfer charge if you wish to sit in the stand.

With the weather having improved somewhat over the past couple of days, hopes are high that the game will go ahead. If any inspection is planned we will update the website as soon as we can.
