We are delighted to announce that Joe Oli McCann, the youngest son of manager Gary, has been selected to represent the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

He will be representing the borough's in their under-11 side as they take part in the A.S Cannes International Youth Tournament that will take place in the spring. The borough have been sending a side for the past 12 years, and the squad are selected from local schools around the borough. It is part of the International Town Twinning process that has been in existence since 1970 between Kensington & Chelsea and Cannes.

The tournament is a two day, 48 team event that includes sides from the acadamies of top French sides such as Paris St Germain, Nantes, Montpellier and Metz.

Many supporters will know Joe Oli, who is celebrating his 11th birthday today, as he has been a regular attender at games home and away since Gary became manager. As a striker he has been scoring regularly for his club and school which has ensured his selection for the squad.

Everyone connected with the club congratulates Joe Oli on his selection, and we look forward to hearing about his trip next year. And who knows, maybe in a few years time, he'll become the another member of the McCann dynasty to pull on a Hendon shirt.
