In something of a rarity, the first team now embark on a run of four consecutive away games - without having to travel outside of the M25. The run begins on Wednesday evening when we travel to play Grays Athletic, who currently play their home games at Aveley.
Grays currently lie in 9th place with 28 points from 17 games and come into the game having beaten Harrow Borough 2-0 on Saturday. It is their first season back at this level following promotion from Division One North last season, and they are very familiar opponents, with the two clubs having met many times over the years.
Gary McCann and his squad will be going into the game looking to build on the performance against AFC Hornchurch, knowing that if they can play like that again, they have every chance of coming away with a positive result.
Kick off at Mill Field is at 7.45pm, and admission is £10 for adults, £6 for over 65s and those aged 14-19 and £1 for under 14s.
