We host our third Super Sunday of the season this weekend as we entertain Bideford in the FA Trophy second qualifying round.
This is the first time we have met Bideford who are currently lying in third place in the Southern League Premier Division, where they have an unbeaten record. They have won 7 and drawn 5 in the league so far, most recently beating St Neots Town 3-2 last Saturday, a game in which on loan forward Ashley Yeoman scored a hat-trick.
Our opponents reached this stage of the competition by beating Swindon Supermarine 3-2 a fortnight ago while we were beating Cray Wanderers 4-1 at Hayes Lane.
WIth Bideford flying high in their division, this promises to be a tough test for the Greens, although the squad will be keen to ensure there is no repeat of the poor performance that occurred at Hampton on Tuesday evening.
Gary McCann is very keen to have a run in the FA Trophy this season, something that, as all supporters will know, is very long overdue. Therefore your support is crucial and we hope to see as many of you there as possible on Sunday afternoon.
Kick off on Sunday is at 3.00pm, and our normal admission prices will apply at £10 for adults, £5 for senior citizens and students, and free for under 16s.
Should a replay be required, it will take place at Bideford on Tuesday evening, kick off 7.45pm.
