Hendon progressed to the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy this afternoon as they beat Cray Wanderers 4-1 at Hayes Lane.
However, they had to come back from a goal behind when a corner from Jack Clark found its way into the net without anyone else getting a touch.
Tony Taggart levelled things in the 27th minute, before Chris Seeby put the Greens ahead five minutes before half-time. Casey Maclaren had a goal chalked off for offside on the stroke of half-time and he was booked for his protests - the only booking of the game.
Jefferson Louis scored the other two goals, coming in the 47th and 87th minutes as Hendon controlled the second half to ensure progression to the next round.
This is something of a rare win in the FA Trophy in recent years, and the Greens will be hoping that Monday's draw will be a kind one.
