Gary McCann was very disappointed after last night's London Senior Cup exit at Dulwich Hamlet, but is now looking ahead to the FA Trophy.
"We didn't defend nearly well enough. It was an excellent game to watch, with many excellent passages of play from both sides.
"I was really impressed with Dulwich, and I have great respect for Gavin Rose and what he has done. But I expected far more from us. I thought our men would beat their boys.
"We worked hard to get back into the game but we then gave them a scrappy second goal. As for the sending off, it was an awful challenge and I told him so. I cannot and will not condone it.
"I am disappointed to go out of the competition so early, it is one that I have a great deal of fondness for.
Looking ahead to Saturday's FA Trophy game at Cray Wanderers, he said "We have a very bad record in the FA Trophy, but after going out of the FA Cup, League Cup and London Senior Cup, I want a good reaction and I am hopeful of having a good run this season."
