Hendon ran out 3-1 winners (not 2-1 as has been reported elsewhere this evening) at Harrow Borough in the first meeting between the two sides since the Greens moved to Earlsmead.
The Greens had a perfect start when they took the lead in the 4th minute when Jefferson Louis headed home a free kick from Jack Bennett. Less than 60 seconds later, Louis had doubled the lead when he headed home a cross from the opposite wing that had been delivered by Michael Bryan.
Hendon had further chances to extend their lead in the opening period, but found the ball not quite running in their favour in front of goal.
Simeon Akinola pulled a goal back for Harrow ten minutes into the second half, but the Greens made the game safe with a minute of normal time to go when Tony Taggart's shot was deflected into the net.
