Hendon put in their best performance of the season as they picked up their second win of the season, beating Lowestoft Town 3-2.
With the exception of the first minute, when a push in the box gave Bradley Woods-Garness the chance to score from the penalty spot to give Lowestoft the lead, the Greens were on top for much of the game.
However, in the opening period, chances were at a premium, and it was tough to create any clear cut opportunities.
Within five minutes of the second half starting, the Greens were level courtesy of Jack Bennett, and then five minutes later Junior Morias converted a beauty of a cross from Dave Diedhiou to take the lead.
Ten minutes later Robert Eagle equalised for Lowestoft with a cracking effort, but it was Hendon who had the last laugh when Sam Flegg rose to loop a free kick from Lee O'Leary over the advancing Ashlee Jones into the back of the net.
It was the first goals that Lowestoft had conceded at home this season, and also the first points they had dropped on their own patch.
The result means that the Greens make the long journey home very happy and in confident mood ahead of Monday's game at Harrow Borough.
