Hendon were thoroughly outplayed by Dulwich Hamlet, particularly in the first half, and went down to a 2-1 defeat.
Dulwich are a quick pacy side who never gave the Greens time to settle on the ball. On the attack their pace gave the defence all sorts of problems and it was no surprise when they took the lead in the 20th minute through Harry Ottoway.
It was Ottoway who doubled the lead a few minutes later, and had they had more luck in front of goal, the visitors could easily have been further ahead at half-time.
Having read the riot act, Gary McCann made two changes at half-time which did spark a bit of life into the performance, but the first shot at goal didn't come until deep into stoppage time when Jefferson Louis converted from the penalty spot.
