As you know, we are a small fans-owned club run almost exclusively on a volunteer basis. That means that we are completely reliant on our small band of volunteers for such activities as keeping the website up-to-date, providing Twitter match updates and match day operations.

From time to time, we're going to encounter situations where we simply do not have sufficient bodies to do everything that we would like to do. From time to time, the website will not be updated as quickly as you would like. Occasionally, we will not be able to offer Twitter updates or match reports.

That's frustrating for all of us, whether you're one of our small band of volunteers, someone who has been unable to attend a specific game or someone who lives in Outer Mongolia and whose only contact with the club is through Twitter, Facebook and the website.

Please think about becoming a volunteer. It doesn't have to cost you a penny and it doesn't have to mean that you miss a minute of any game. If you are prepared to help out in some capacity, please let us know by emailing us at admin@hendonfc.net or by speaking to Simon Lawrence or Graham Etchell at a game.

If you don't want to or can't volunteer, that's fine but please don't complain when there is a delay in updating the website or there are no Twitter updates because we really are doing our best."
