Hendon were well beaten 4-1 by Barnet this evening at The Hive, in just the second game to ever be played in the stadium.
After the Bees had gone two goals ahead, the Greens pulled a goal back just before half time. Dean Cracknell picked up the ball in the Barnet half and carried the ball forward before passing it out wide to Brandon Horner. The youngster took control of the ball near the corner flag and delivered the perfect cross for Anthony Thomas to head home.
The second half saw the Bees score two further goals, and there was one amusing moment when two sprinkers started up near the Hendon penalty area while the game was still in progress.
