The end of season awards were announced during the celebration evening held in Watford tonight and there were a number of winners.
The Supporters Player of the Season was Berkley Laurencin, whilst Kevin Maclaren picked up both the Players Player and Management Teams Player of the Season awards. Also picking up an award was Howard Hall, who was named most improved player. Further to that, both Scott Cousins and Kevin Maclaren picked up awards for reaching 200 appearances for the club during the season.
The Supporters Association made two special awards to both Geraldine Clarke and Bernard Lawrence, both of whom have been a very important part of the matchday staff for many years. The Supporter of the Year award went to Mike Hogan, who has also been a very important part of the club for so many years.
Simon Lawrence awarded his chairman's award to Bryan Roberts, who is yet another volunteer who works tirelessly behind the scenes, both on matchdays and as co-chairman of the Supporters Trust.
Finally, a special award was made by the Supporters Trust to Graham Etchell, to mark 20 years with the club. There was also a present for his wife, Lyn, who looks after the boardroom on matchdays.
