Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks of leaving Vale Farm is that tomorrow will be the last chance for you to get a Hogey Burger or any of the other items through the snack bar.
Mike Hogan and Bernie Lawrence will be hanging up their aprons for the last time tomorrow, as the catering when we go to Earlsmead will be handled by Harrow's existing providers.
The Hendon snack bar has been run by our Supporters Association for many years, and has had a reputation for being one of the best and cheapest in the league. Many supporters have helped out from time to time, and many supporters will remember the likes of Derek Furmedge and Mike's mum, Mrs Hogan, who were regular faces in the snack bar at Claremont Road.
We are hoping to have a club shop at Earlsmead, but at the time of writing we are unsure how the arrangements will work. As soon as we know more, we will let you know.
We would therefore also like to thank all the Supporters Association committee for all their hard work this season, particularly Sandra Wood and Geraldine Clarke.
Of course, we must also thank all our matchday staff, co-ordinated superbly by John Rogers. Many supporters have stepped up to help out, and by doing so it has meant we have been able to share the load. Whether you are operating the turnstiles, manning the members gate, selling programmes, rescuing footballs, stewarding the tunnel, cleaning the changing rooms or any of the other jobs that go on on matchdays, you are so important to the smooth running of things, and it is very much appreciated by everyone.
