The first team kept their slim play off hopes alive this evening as they put in an excellent performance to win 1-0 at Leiston.

Having soaked up the pressure from the home side for the first 20 minutes, the Greens grew into the game. Dave Diedhiou has a first half chance fly straight at the keeper, whilst Darren Currie hit the woodwork with a free kick.

The goal came in the 70th minute when Jack Connors, who has just signed his first professional contract with Dagenham & Redbridge, scored a terrific goal into the near top corner, a goal that secured all three points.

The Greens now lie in 9th place, four points adrift of the play-offs with three games to go.
