Hendon and East Thurrock United played out a goalless draw at Vale Farm this evening.
The first half was an entertaining affair with both keepers called into action, Sean Thomas making two excellent saves for the Greens, and Elliott Justham making one from a Scott Cousins effort. Justham was beaten once, but Dean Cracknell's effort hit the crossbar.
The second half belonged to the visitors in terms of possession, but they were unable to create much in the way of shots on target, with Thomas just having a couple of routine saves to make.
The Greens now travel to Hastings United on Saturday afternoon for the first part of a double header, the return fixture coming at Vale Farm on Tuesday.
