The first team continued their good run of results with a 2-1 win at Bury Town this evening.
It was another excellent hardworking performance from the Greens, it was Junior Morias who opened the scoring in the 9th minute when he belied his youth to hold off his marker and find the back of the net for the only goal of the first half.
The second half saw the Greens remain largely in control, and they doubled the lead in the 82nd minute when Kevin Maclaren scored his first goal of the campaign, a goal that was an excellent strike that arrowed into the net. There was time for Bury to score a late consolation, but the Greens were able to consolidate their position in 11th in the table.
