Runaway leaders visiting tonight

The first team face a very tough test this evening as they entertain run away leaders Whitehawk at Vale Farm in a 7:45pm kick off. Whilst the Greens are in good form with 5 wins in their last 6 league games, the Hawks are doing even better and are unbeaten in their last 15 league games, winning 10 of them, and it is that form that sees them lie 11 points clear at the top of the pile.

In the reserve fixture in August, we played out a largely uneventful 0-0 draw, which has turned out to be a very creditable point as the season has gone on. Both sides will be keen to continue their good form and it promises to be a very interesting fixture.

There are currently no plans for an inspection. Wembley played at Vale Farm on Saturday, and the weather has been largely dry since then. With no rain forecast until around kick off time, everything should be fine for the game to go ahead. Should the situation change, we will update you through the usual sources. However, please note that we will be unable to bring any updates after 7pm this evening until very late, which unfortunately also means there will be no live score updates on the messageboard and twitter.
