The first team picked up another important three points this afternoon as they beat Wingate & Finchley 1-0 at a wet Harry Abrahams Stadium.
Wingate were eventually made to pay for their ill-discipline, they had a player sent off midway through the second half for violent conduct, in the final minute of normal time.
The goal came after former player Scott Shulton handled the ball on the line to reduce the home side to nine men, which allowed Julian Owusu-Bekoe to convert the spot kick and secure the points.
It was another hard-working performance from the Greens, who had the lions share of possession, but things just didn't run for them in front of goal until that final minute.
