Tomorrow is our final home game of 2012, and is also the day of the Great Hendon FC Bake Sale. Nathan Persaud has worked hard to organise the sale, and there will be plenty of items for sale so that you can stock up for the Christmas and New Year holiday.
Our opponents tomorrow are Whitehawk, in what will be our first return fixture of the campaign following our 0-0 draw in Sussex back in August. The Hawks have had an excellent first half of the season, their first at this level, and are currently second in the table with 33 points from 17 games. Their game last Saturday at home to Margate was abandoned early in the second half due to a waterlogged pitch.
Gary McCann and the squad go into the game looking to ensure that they build on the victory at Thurrock on Tuesday evening and apart from a couple of players carrying minor knocks, Gary has a full squad to pick from.
Kick off tomorrow is at 3.00pm, and the bake sale will be running before, during and after the game, so why not take a break from your Christmas preparations and come down to Vale Farm.
Obviously, with the weather forecast not looking good, and following the prolonged rain over the past couple of days, we would advise that you check after 10.00am tomorrow morning to see if any inspection is planned. The website, twitter feed, messageboard and postponement hotline will be updated as soon as there is any news.
