Hendon were beaten 2-1 by Kingstonian this evening at a chilly Kingsmeadow.
Whilst Hendon more than matched their hosts in terms of possession, as so often has been the case this season, they lacked the cutting edge in front of goal to take anything from the game.
That said, both the K's goals came from set pieces - the first in the 19th minute came after a corner wasn't cleared and Kieran Murphy headed the ball home, and the second direct from a free-kick coverted by Matt Pattinson.
Hendon's goal came in the final minute of normal time when Julian Owusu-Bekoe finished off a move involving Berkley Laurencin and Jack Mazzone.
